Keyboard

I started learning keyboard last year after I changed schools. At first it was really hard so we started off by learning notes and how to read music sheets. I can't read music sheets quickly yet but I can read them accurately. I really enjoy doing keyboard lessons and my keyboard teacher says I have made good progress.

The Entertainer took a very long time to learn to play with both hands, about a whole term. I performed it at the end of year keyboard concert and it is my favourite song to play.

Wild Ride isn't as difficult as The Entertainer, I learnt it in the first term of this year. The left hand is easy because it is just two chords. I like the angry mood.

I learnt Royals by listening to the notes and matching it in my mind. I got my new keyboard at Christmas so I had time to work on it. It feels cool to play a song that everybody knows. I want to learn to play more well known music.

Grade 6 "Passion Project"

Below is my video for my "Passion Project" we did during first term, a project where we could show off our ability on the iPad. The topic I chose was dancing because dancing is my passion.  

Grade 5 "Asia and Us" project

This presentation was for a school project 'Asia and Us'. I chose the subject: Japanese street fashion. I enjoyed looking at all the crazy outfits people had made.

An animation

I made this animation by taking photos, then using an app called "Flipagram" to put them together. I had a lot of fun making it and have made many others since!
